I found these products to be of the highest integrity and a perfect solution for creating a toxic free home/planet. Since the birth of our first child in 2005 we became increasingly concerned about the long baffling chemistry ingredient names of our favourite shampoos, conditioners, toothpaste, skin care products and baby products. We found that cosmetic companies, due to very little labelling regulation, can be very misleading by describing their products as, 'natural' and 'organic', even though they still contain an alarming number of hidden toxic chemicals that are directly linked with certain types of cancer, hormone dysfunction, birth defects and allergic reactions. We assumed that we could trust the safety of the personal care products we used just because they were on the shelf. In fact, we discovered that one third of all personal care products contain one or more ingredients classified as possible human carcinogens. The key to good health and our capacity to parent wisely largely depended on learning how to read labels to identify toxic and harmful substances.
